KIPP AMP
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

ENROLLTEACH

At KIPP AMP Elementary students will cultivate their curiosity of the world around them, love to learn every day towards being a college-bound lifelong learner, and use their voices to speak out and speak up, in order to be strong leaders who STRIVE daily to make our community and world a better place.

From the beginning, KIPP has focused on developing academic and character skills. Since day one, the key to maintaining the balance between these two necessary skill sets has been rooted in the amazing, collaborative efforts of parents, students, and teachers working together.

The KIPP AMP Elementary School core values, Scholarship, Tenacity, Respect, Inquiry, Voce, Enthusiasm, guide our entire school community. As our teaching staff models and fosters our S.T.R.I.V.E. values in all our lessons and activities, our students will also learn to give their all, never give up, help others, explore new things, speak up, and smile and laugh along the way.

Students have the opportunity to take Visual Art, Dance, Science, Physical Education, and Theatre throughout the year. Each student has Music at least twice a week and our third and fourth graders have the opportunity to perform in the school band! Each grade has a class of Collaborative Team Teaching for students with Special Education needs.
