KIPP Infinity opened an elementary school in Harlem this year and would like to welcome our first class of kindergarteners. The school will grow one grade level each year until reaching our full program of K-4th grades. Once a student enters kindergarten the KIPP NYC team and family makes a commitment to provide the academic and character strengths necessary to graduate from the college of their choice.

Climbing the mountain to college starts the first day of kindergarten. Next year, our students will learn through exploration and group projects, as classroom learning will extend to the zoos, museums, grocery stores, and the Harlem community. Our elementary team will nurture our kindergarteners' abilities to solve real world problems and build a classroom community where students celebrate each other’s successes. Each of our students will not only perform on grade level with academics, they will also sing, dance, play sports and explore the arts that will make them well-rounded scholars and athletes. We opened our doors to the class of 2027 (the year our kindergarteners will graduate from college) in August 2010 with an environment where ALL children learn, play, grow, and build a love of learning. Harlem, get ready for the newest and youngest class of KIPPsters.
