KIPP NYC is the family of all KIPP programming in New York City - KIPP Academy (founded in 1995), KIPP STAR (2003), KIPP AMP (2005), KIPP Infinity (2005), and KIPP to College (2001).

KIPP NYC’s mission is to teach our students to develop the character and academic skills necessary to succeed in high school and college, to be self-sufficient, successful, and happy in the competitive world, and to build a better tomorrow for themselves and us all. KIPP NYC is part of the KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) nationwide network of college preparatory middle schools.
